Possible risks, hazards or complications
Pain: There can be pain even after the topical anesthetic has been used. Anesthetics may work better on some people than others.
Infection: Infection is not common. The areas treated must be kept clean.
Uneven Pigmentation: This can result from poor healing, infection, bleeding, or many other causes. Your follow up appointment will likely correct any imperfections.
Asymmetry: Every effort will be made to avoid asymmetry, but keep in mind that our faces are not symmetrical. Most brow bones are not exact. So please remember that brows are sisters, not twins. However, twins is the goal!

Swelling or bruising: Some people bruise or swell more than others. Ice packs may be used to reduce the swelling. This usually disappears in about 1-5 days.
Anesthetics: Lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine, and/or epinephrine cream will be used.
MRI: Tattoo pigments used in permanent cosmetics procedures contain inert oxides, a low level magnet may be required if you need to be scanned by an MRI machine. You must inform your MRI tech of any tattoo or permanent cosmetics.
